A bright sunny Sunday greeted the as we left our start point at Heathcote NSW bound for a drive to the Southern Highlands south of Sydney to enjoy a warming savoury pie or two (for some) at the famous Robertson Pie Shop.
A good challenging twisty route was followed, mostly on good non motorway roads. The route and scenery was enjoyed by those members who came along for the drive. The run home was equally challenging but this time, following a different, but no less interesting route back to Sydney despite the traffic heading home at the end of a weekend of perfect winter weather.
We had a good variety of cars out for a drive on the day, with the range including a Mk 1 Escort Mexico, a Mk 2 Escort RS 2000, a genuine RS3100 Capri, three Mk 2 Focus RS models, a Sierra Cosworth 3 door, a Sierra Saphire and a Falcon ute and Nissan Skyline for variety.
